Please note: All our single origin coffees are roasted to order, what this means is we will roast your single origin order on the next work day and will be shipped out the following work day. If you require it ground ie for plunger, then we would rest the coffee beans for a few days before grinding and shipping.

A delicious Colombia washed processed coffee from our friends at Cofinet.

The Nariño region has the highest altitude at which coffee is grown in Colombia, which also means the temperature is very low. This climate is perfect for the coffee cherry; as the bean matures slowly, it can develop a higher concentration of sugar.

Another relevant factor that makes the coffee from this region so unique is its very rich soil. Unlike many regions in Colombia, Nariño’s soil is extraordinarily rich in volcanic ash, primarily due to the high volcanic activity in the area. Volcanic ash in the soil is rich in nutrients, which contributes to a much healthier tree and greater complexity in the cup.

Here at Little Things Micro-Roastery we air roast coffee to give a cleaner, brighter taste with a smoother finish. We have two roast styles to choose from, an espresso focused roast giving more body to the coffee for your coffee machine and a filter focused roast giving more acidity to the coffee for your softer brew methods such as V60, clever dripper etc.

We would love any feedback to help fine tune our roasting recipe as we roast in small batches.
