Colombia Huila Reserve Green

HUILA RESERVE

This lot is a regional blend from the San Augustin and Palestina regions of Huila. This blend is composed of coffees supplied by many small  producers, averaging a farm size of just over two hectares. To create this lot, we start by cupping a range of coffees individually. Only those coffees that score above 83.5 are able to be selected for this blend. The initial quality control and assessment is done by CADEFIHUILA. The coffees are then assessed by Cofinet to make a final selection and a blend is created.

The Huila region is known for its fruit forward flavors and greater complexity in the cup. This, in large part, can be attributed to the high altitudes coffees are grown and the rich volcanic soil found in this area.
